BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — DAVIN ‘Dagga’ Phipps of Lower Westbourne Ghaut has been charged with the murder of Jimmy Allen.
The 32-year-old Phipps is alleged to have been involved in the murder of Allen, which took place on February 4 of this year at Upper College Street Ghaut.
According to police reports, Allen sustained multiple gunshot wounds during a brazen daylight shooting. The incident occurred between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 4. Allen was approached by two armed assailants who exited a vehicle and opened fire.
Allen was pronounced dead at the scene.
Phipps was charged on August 29th at the Basseterre Police Station.
