BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - This week at the final practice sessions of the Children’s Dance Theatre, one could feel the excitement in the air as the sixty dancers and their tutors put the finishing touches to the pieces that will be presented at this year’s Christmas dance recital entitled OUR CHRISTMAS CHOICE AWARDS.
They are not the only ones sharpening their skills for this dance production. Dance groups such as the Fire Flies Dance School and the CFBC Dance Ensemble are also preparing for their special guest appearances.
According to a spokesperson for the Theatre, tickets for the ONE NIGHT ONLY performance are going briskly and it is believed that this is due to the fact that their loyal fans are eager to once again see our nation’s youth perform a variety of brand new dances but also to witness high-quality choreography, impactful costuming and a professionally staged production.
OUR CHISTMAS CHOICE AWARDS takes place this coming Sunday, December 20th at the Sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium at 5 p.m.
