BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — Police announced this afternoon that Victor Challenger, who was wanted by law enforcement, has turned himself in.
In a media statement, the police confirmed that “Challenger is now in our custody” after he voluntarily appeared at the Sandy Point Police Station, accompanied by his lawyer.
According to the police, Challenger surrendered himself between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. today. The 30-year-old is wanted in connection with a charge of Wounding with Intent. While the details surrounding the incident are still unclear, the police informed the media that the alleged offense took place on September 9.
As of the time of the police statement, no charges have been formally laid against Challenger.
