BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — Police have confirmed that two individuals have been charged with a total of six offenses following the execution of a search warrant on October 2nd in Hamilton, Nevis.
According to the police, the operation led to charges being filed against Shavere Hanley of Hamilton and Kylah Wallace of Bath Village. This follows what the police described as “steady, positive strides” in their ongoing efforts to ensure public safety and security across the Federation.
The charges stemmed from a search conducted at Hanley’s residence, during which law enforcement officers seized a Glock 40 firearm with a magazine containing 14 rounds of 10mm ammunition, along with a quantity of cocaine.
Following the search, Hanley and Wallace, along with two other individuals, were taken into custody. The police investigation resulted in Hanley being charged with four offenses: Possession of Firearm, Possession of Ammunition, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply.
Wallace, meanwhile, received two charges: Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Supply.
The two other individuals taken into custody were subsequently released.
