CHARLESTOWN, Nevis – POLICE are actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Friday (Oct. 11) in Cotton Ground, Nevis.
According to a media statement from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF), the incident was reported by Shawn Kissoon, a privately employed landscaper from Rawlins Pasture, Nevis.
Kissoon informed police that two masked assailants held him at gunpoint as he was entering his workplace. The robbers demanded money and took his phone, keys, and wallet.
He further reported that the assailants led him to a secluded footpath, bound him with duct tape, and then fled the scene. Kissoon managed to free himself and alerted his colleagues and the police. No injuries were reported.
