November 15, 2024 –  Today, the highly anticipated music video to Tosh Alexander's Reggae-fusion single "My Ting Different" featuring Lady London is finally here. Fresh from releasing the intoxicating dance-ready audio earlier this month, the official music video serves as the soundtrack for the two Jamaican-American trailblazers, chronicling Tosh and London's extravagant takeover of recent weeks while capturing unforgettable moments from their appearances at the 2024 Caribbean Music Awards, 2024 Miami Carnival, Howard University Homecoming [Lady London's Alma Mater] in addition to time enjoyed in Jamaica. The video, shot in a vibrant and dynamic style, is a visual feast that perfectly complements the tropical flare of the track.

Tosh shared the empowering message behind her movement of "My Ting Different" with Kaboom Magazine earlier this week, stating that "It's [My Ting Different] an uplifting song for you to feel as if those things about you that you probably thought worked against you actually work for you. Like those things that you consider to be so different, that's not palatable or likable, is actually the thing that makes you uniquely you."

"My Ting Different" is the latest release from Tosh Alexander, following her debut 2024 single, "Chat To Me Nice." This track has sparked numerous discussions, with LADYGUNN describing Tosh as "a musical fusion of Jamaican soul and Brooklyn cool." They praised "Chat To Me Nice" as a reflection of her journey to self-acceptance and empowerment. This sentiment was echoed by Kazi Magazine, Caribbean National Weekly, Global Grind, Rolling Out, Viper Magazine, and more, all of whom joined in the celebration of this sultry, soulful release.

Earlier this month, Tosh was also unveiled to be the new face of renowned spirit brand Campari for its recently launched Red Passion—Embrace the Mix campaign.

    ABOUT TOSH ALEXANDER

Each aspect of lived experiences impacts and inspires.

Tosh, named after her mother's favorite singer, Peter Tosh, is a Brooklyn native raised in Jamaica and South Florida. She captures the best of all worlds in her delivery of musicality. "I grew up in both cultures, so my approach to music and expression reflects exactly that," she states.

Tosh's music is a testament to her versatility and her ability to connect with listeners on a deep level. She effortlessly blends sultry and soulful deliveries with fierce deejaying abilities native to her Jamaican roots. This unique fusion of styles allows her to transcend genres, consistently captivating a diverse range of listeners.

Amidst all of these sides, she describes her music...

"In my music, you can recognize moments of sensuality and strength— the prowess of being a Woman. That's the message. It's important for me to talk about other situations I've been in that other women can relate to regardless of where my listeners are tuning in from."

Tosh is a seasoned artist, with her talent and hard work recognized by prestigious publications such as Rolling Stone, Clash Magazine, GRM Daily Wonderland Magazine, and more. Her upcoming release, 'Chat To Me Nice,' is highly anticipated, marking her return to the spotlight as she reaffirms her status as Jamaica's hottest sensation following a string of successful releases, including 'Bubble,' 'Games,' 'Can't Give You a Try,' '911' featuring Ky-Mani Marley and "Cum Yah."

She leaves off for now with the notion…

"It's about time the public sees and hears more of me. I'm excited about this new chapter. It feels like a new beginning because I finally found a way to sonically embrace both of my cultures. It can be challenging to find that balance when you're from different worlds—especially when writing. So, to create a curate, you have to sit down and perfect it. The marriage is now between both worlds, and I stand confident in my sound."
