BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A fourth individual has succumbed to injuries sustained in this morning’s (Dec. 11) traffic accident in the New Guinea area, police have confirmed.
The victim had been receiving medical treatment throughout the day for unspecified injuries but passed away earlier this evening.
Details about the crash, which involved multiple vehicles, remain unclear as police continue their investigation. The identities of the victims have not been released, and SKNVibes News will withhold any such information until officially confirmed.
SKNVibes understands that the accident reportedly occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., with videos and photos quickly circulating on social media. The footage showed a severely damaged car and a bus, with victims being attended to.
Police initially reported that three people had died, with at least two succumbing to their injuries at the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest several individuals were ejected from the vehicles during the collision.
This tragedy follows another fatal accident just days ago on the FT Williams Highway, which claimed the lives of two young people.
