Police still hunting for wanted men

By: Staff Reporter, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — AS the calendar year comes to a close, police have confirmed that investigations remain ongoing against two individuals wanted for various homicides in the Federation.

SKNVibes News recently followed up with the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force regarding two individuals, Phillip Jones and Kyrhon Phillip, wanted for offenses related to murder.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Cromwell Henry confirmed that the cases are still under investigation. Addressing reports that one of the suspects may have fled the jurisdiction, the DCP stated: “We continue to work with our external partners in these investigations.”

Jones, 41, of Carty Pasture, is wanted for questioning in connection with a murder that occurred earlier this year in the Tabernacle area. At the time of the incident, police advised the public that Jones might be armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Authorities suspect that he is being illegally harboured or aided and have reminded the public that anyone providing assistance to Jones could face legal consequences.

Meanwhile, Phillip, 29, of St. Peter’s, is also wanted for questioning in connection with a homicide that occurred earlier this year in the St. Peter’s area.

A $25,000 reward has been offered by the police force for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of the duo.
