    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, DECEMBER 21ST 2009 (CUOPM) – St. Kitts and Nevis will launch the National Competitive Council of Advisers on Tuesday afternoon at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.
     
    Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will deliver opening remarks during the first meeting of the Council at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort at 2 P.M.
     
    During the meeting Prime Minister Douglas is expected to provide any clarification in relation to the structure, role and functions of the Council.
     
    The Council has been established to promote national competitiveness and development and is a critical component of the Private Sector development strategy that was funded by the European Union.
     
    Members are Charles Wilkin, Q.C.;  Earl Kelly, Judith Rawlins, Ernest Amory, Edmund Lawrence, Anthony Kelsick, Ossie Liburd, Kishu Chandaramani, Keisha Archibald, His Excellency Mr. Wendell Lawrence, His Excellency Simon Jones-Hendrickson and Scott Caines.
