BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Police Force continues its efforts to remove illegal weapons and ammunition from the streets of St. Kitts and Nevis, with Xhavion Browne being the latest individual charged in connection with an illegal firearm accessory.
In response to last year’s rise in homicides, law enforcement has intensified the execution of search warrants across the federation.
According to a police statement, Browne, a resident of Rawlins, Nevis, was charged with the offence of Possession of a Firearm (Ammunition Magazine) after a search warrant was executed at his home on February 13. During the search, officers discovered a .380 caliber ammunition magazine.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue their crackdown on illegal firearms and related accessories.
