BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has charged two individuals, including a former Assistant Police Commissioner, in a significant legal development.
In a statement issued this afternoon, police confirmed that Vaughan Henderson of Saddler’s Village and Andre Williams, also known as Andre Mills, of Newton Ground, have been arrested and charged with Perverting the Course of Justice and Money Laundering.
Henderson faces a total of six charges for Money Laundering and two charges for Perverting the Course of Justice. Meanwhile, Williams has been charged with four counts of Money Laundering and two counts of Perverting the Course of Justice.
Both individuals were arrested and charged today (Feb. 21) at the White Collar Crime Unit’s office in Basseterre.
This latest development comes amid a series of similar charges filed by authorities in recent weeks.
