Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 12th, 2025 -- In celebration of International Women's Day (IWD) 2025, Sagicor St. Kitts and Nevis Agency honoured its female team members with their participation in an engaging and uplifting Sip & Paint event. The gathering provided a perfect setting for wellness, relaxation, and meaningful conversations, all while embracing this year’s IWD theme: Accelerate Action.

Held in a serene and creative atmosphere, the event allowed the women of Sagicor to unwind, connect, and express themselves artistically in the company of female colleagues from other organisations in St Kitts and Nevis. As they sipped on refreshing beverages and put brush to canvas, they reflected on the importance of driving progress in both their personal and professional lives. The guided painting session encouraged creativity and mindfulness, reinforcing the value of self-care and balance in the workplace.

Beyond the artistry, the event also fostered networking and deep discussions on how women can continue to break barriers, uplift one another, and take actionable steps toward gender equity. The room was filled with laughter, encouragement, and inspiration, highlighting the strong sense of camaraderie among the Sagicor team and the other women present.

Cleone Moore, Agency Administrator for Sagicor’s office in St Kitts and Nevis said, “Sagicor is committed to empowering women in the workplace and beyond, recognizing their invaluable impact on the company and the wider community. This initiative was different and promoted a sense of camaraderie and networking among a group of strong, resilient women through its fun hands-on approach. Through initiatives like this, the organization continues to create spaces where women can thrive, lead, and drive meaningful change.”
