BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force recently seized three illegal firearms, including a Mac-11 submachine gun.
On March 13, 2025, officers from the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU), Special Services Unit (SSU), and the St. Kitts and Nevis Customs and Excise Department’s K9 Unit executed an early morning search warrant.
During the operation, officers searched a vehicle belonging to Glenroy Samuel of Conaree, St. Kitts, uncovering a .45 FNX pistol along with two matching rounds of ammunition. Samuel, who was present during the search, was arrested and taken into police custody along with the firearm.
Later that afternoon, police recovered a second illegal firearm—a Taurus 9mm pistol with two matching rounds—during a routine search of a vacant lot in the Conaree area.
A third weapon, a Mac-11 submachine gun with four rounds of ammunition, was discovered in an abandoned building in the Dewar’s area. These firearms were seized, and the Crime Scene Unit processed all three locations, collecting items of evidential value.
At this time, no arrests have been made in connection with the weapons found in Conaree and Dewar’s.
