BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE on Monday (Mar. 24) provided additional details on the fatal accident that occurred on Saturday (Mar. 22), claiming the life of 18-year-old Shanice Harvey.
According to a police statement, the accident took place between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. in the White Gate area, between Dieppe Bay and St. Paul’s. The driver—whose identity was not disclosed—lost control of the vehicle, which then collided with a tree and overturned.
As a result of the crash, eight people sustained serious injuries, and Harvey, a resident of Dieppe Bay, tragically lost her life.
The injured victims were transported to the hospital, where they remain hospitalized.
