BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE organizers of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) have confirmed the schedule for the 2025 season, with St. Kitts and Nevis set to host the opening rounds of matches.

The tournament kicks off on August 14 at Warner Park, where the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots will face off against the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons at 7:00 p.m. The home side will also play matches on August 15 against the Guyana Amazon Warriors, August 17 against the Trinbago Knight Riders in a morning game, August 19 against the Saint Lucia Kings, and will conclude their home leg on August 21 against the Barbados Royals.

This year's tournament will feature the six franchises—Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Saint Lucia Kings, and the Trinbago Knight Riders—competing in home-and-away fixtures. As in previous seasons, the competition will consist of 34 matches, with each team playing 10 group-stage fixtures.

The Guyana National Stadium will once again host the tournament finals, marking the final year of its current hosting rights contract. In 2026, the finals will shift to Barbados at Kensington Oval.

Michael Hall, Tournament Operations Director for the Republic Bank CPL, expressed excitement for the upcoming season:

“We are thrilled to once again deliver a world-class tournament that brings together passionate cricket fans from across the Caribbean and beyond. The 2024 edition exceeded all expectations, and we are confident that the 2025 tournament will build on that success, providing unforgettable moments for players and spectators alike.”

The Saint Lucia Kings are the defending champions, having defeated the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the 2024 finals.
