Submitting False Documents
This latest seizure comes as authorities intensify efforts to curb the illegal drug trade in the Federation.
In a separate case, Lennox Smith of Cayon was recently charged with possession of Methamphetamine (Ecstasy) and possession with intent to supply.
Over the past year, concerns have grown about the presence of Ecstasy on the streets of St. Kitts and Nevis. However, police confirm that there is no evidence of the drug being found in schools.
"At this time, no drugs of this nature, including ecstasy, have been found in schools, nor have there been any specific incidents reported involving teenagers in connection with these substances. The police remain vigilant and collaborate closely with schools to ensure that our youth are protected from exposure to illicit drugs," Deputy Commissioner of Police told SNVibes News last year.
Despite this, authorities suspect an underground market for the drug exists within the Federation.
