BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE have identified the victim of the island’s first homicide of the year as 60-year-old Isalin Pitt of New Road.
According to reports, the incident took place between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on April 5. Officers responded to a call and, upon arrival at the scene, discovered Pitt unresponsive in a bedroom with multiple wounds to her body.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A male suspect is currently in police custody and is assisting with ongoing investigations.
