BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – DANIA Phipps of Saddlers, has been sentenced to 45 years in His Majesty’s Prison for the murder of Clement Mills of Parsons Village. The crime occurred on April 22, 2020.
The trial commenced on February 5, 2025, and concluded on February 18, 2025, with the jury delivering a majority guilty verdict.
Police said that on April 9, 2025, His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, KC, handed down the sentence at the High Court in Basseterre. Phipps will be eligible for early release after serving two-thirds of his sentence with good behaviour.
Any time already spent in remand will be credited towards his sentence.
