BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – Kishorn Williams of Lower Monkey Hill has been formally charged with multiple offences, including Possession of an Imitation Firearm, Shooting At With Intent, and Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Prevent Lawful Apprehension.
The charges stem from an incident that occurred on April 5th in Pine Gardens, Shadwell. Williams was officially charged on April 8th at the Basseterre Police Station.
In response to questions posed by SKNVibes News, police clarified that the imitation firearm in question had been altered to resemble a real weapon. Williams was reportedly in possession of the modified item while in a public space.
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cromwell Henry, further revealed that another individual who was with Williams at the time was armed with a real firearm and discharged it in the direction of police officers.
As a result, Williams has been charged under the principle of joint enterprise alongside that person, as investigations continue.
