PORT OF SPAIN – THE Federation's team competing at the 52nd CARIFTA Games in Trinidad and Tobago has captured its first medal on the opening day of the competition.
Jasano Henderson earned a bronze medal in the Boys’ Under-17 Javelin Throw this morning, registering a throw of 54.36meters.
He finished behind the Bahamian duo of Ahkeel Williams, who claimed gold with a throw of 57.51 meters, and Wyatt Cartwright, who secured silver with 55.74 meters.
Abijah Nemdhari, the Federation’s other competitor in the event, narrowly missed the podium, placing fourth with a throw of 53.78 meters.
