Class of 86/87 makes Historic presentation to SPPS

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Sandy Point Primary School (SPPS) Class of 1986/87 continues to honuor its commitment to give back to both the school and the wider community.

     

    On Tuesday (Apr. 22), the group spearheaded a historic and momentous donation of an electric bell system—the first of its kind to be installed at the institution.

     

    Present for the handover were Principal, staff, and students, along with Vice President Cassolis Richardson, Ambassador Tracey Warner, Public Relations Officer Livingston Genelette, and Assistant Treasurer Jeanette Wyatt—representatives of the Class of 1986/87.

     

    This donation marks just one of several community projects planned by the SPPS Class of 86/87 as part of their 2025 Reunion Year.The Reunion Gala is slated for December 27th, 2025 at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort, Save the Date.

     

    President Henry Marsham expressed deep pride and gratitude to his fellow alumni for their unity and generosity in presenting this symbolic gift to their beloved alma mater.

     

    He noted that the solid foundation provided by SPPS helped shape them into the progressive and responsible citizens they are today—contributing members of both the Sandy Point community and the nation of St. Kitts and Nevis.
