Invitation to Tender Renovation of JNF Hospital Psychiatric Ward Occupation Room

    INVITATION TO TENDER RENOVATION OF JNF HOSPITAL PSYCHIATRIC WARD OCCUPATION ROOM

    3. Subject of Procurement

     

    The Taiwan Technical Mission invites sealed tenders for the renovation of the Psychiatric Ward Occupation Room at JNF Hospital. The scope of work includes the following:

     

    • Window and Shutter Installation

     

    - Remove four (4) existing 4 ft. × 4 ft. windows

     

    - Construct eight (8) 2 ft. × 4 ft. jalousie-style wooden shutters

     

    - Shutters must be durability and ease of adjustment.

     

    - Ensure shutters are functional, providing effective ventilation and light control.

     

    • Cabinet Construction

     

    - Build three (3) 30-inch base cabinets and one (1) 30-inch overhead cabinet

     

    - Ensure cabinets are at least 3/4" thick, with reinforced joints and a smooth finish suitable for a hospital environment.

     

    • Kitchen Sink and Countertop Installation

     

    - Install one (1) standard-size single bowl kitchen sink

     

    - Minimum outer dimensions: approx. 22" × 18", depth ≥ 7", with 3-1/2" drain, properly plumbed and secured.

     

    - Install one (1) porcelain tile countertop

     

    - Install a porcelain tile countertop with dimensions suitable for the kitchen sink area, approximately 24" × 48", with proper finishing and installation.

     

    - Ensure all tiles are securely bonded and grout is applied evenly. No sharp edge, for the safety of the users.

     

    - Ensure proper installation of plumbing, including secure connections and leak testing.

     

    • Electrical Outlet Installation

     

    - Install four (4) electrical outlets with cover

     

    - Ensure electrical outlets are properly rated and installed for appliances, particularly in areas exposed to moisture such as the kitchen or laundry area.

     

    - Ensure outlets are wired according to hospital electrical codes.

     

    The contractor is required to provide all labor, materials, tools, and supervision necessary to complete the works as per the site requirements.

    4. Tenderer Qualifications

     

    Eligible tenderers must meet the following requirements:

     

    · Business Registration: Provide a valid and current business license.

     

    · Experience: At least Five (5) years of proven experience in construction and renovation projects.

     

    5. To ensure quality service, the following conditions must be agreed upon

     

    · Signing a service contract to establish an agreement between both parties.

     

    · Ensure the use of odor-free materials to maintain patient comfort.

     

    · Minimize noise to protect the quality of patient care.

     

    · Complete the project within forty-five (45) calendar days of contract signing.

     

    6. Payment Terms

     

    · First Payment (30%): Payment made upon signing the contract.

     

    · Second Payment (60%): Payment made after the completion of the work and final acceptance by the Procuring Entity.

     

    · Final Payment (10%): Payment made after one quarter (3 months) following the completion of the work. During this period, any necessary repairs or adjustments are requested by the Procuring Entity to ensure quality must be completed. The payment will be processed after this period if all conditions are met.

     

    7. Submission Requirements

     

    Tenders must be submitted either via email or in a sealed envelope labeled:

     

    " RENOVATION OF JNF HOSPITAL PSYCHIATRIC WARD OCCUPATION ROOM – Job Number TTMSKN20250523"

     

    The sealed envelope must include the following:

     

    (1) Price Breakdown: A detailed cost breakdown of the tender price.

     

    (2) Qualification documents: at least 5 years of business registration (including the latest and valid registration) and evidence of 5 years of prior projects.

    8. Evaluation of Tenders

     

    Bids will be evaluated based on price competitiveness, service quality, reliability, and adherence to timelines.

    The Taiwan Technical Mission reserves the right to:

     

    · Accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning reasons.

     

    · Negotiate with one or more tenderers.

     

    · Waive minor discrepancies or errors in submitted tenders.
