BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — POLICE are actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the All in One Chinese Supermarket in Dieppe Bay on the evening of Wednesday, May 29.
According to preliminary investigations by officers from the Criminal Investigation Department (Division B), the incident took place around 7:15 p.m. when a masked man entered the supermarket armed with a handgun.
The suspect reportedly threatened the cashier and demanded money, using physical force to intimidate the employee before fleeing with an undisclosed sum of cash.
Police responded swiftly to the scene and launched a formal investigation. Crime Scene Investigators also processed the area and collected relevant evidence.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has pledged to follow all leads and is urging anyone with information about the robbery to contact their nearest police station. All tips will be treated with the utmost confidentiality as the search continues for the suspect.
