BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Federation has recorded another homicide following a fatal stabbing incident at Port Zante early Saturday morning.
According to a statement from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, the incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on May 31, 2025, at the Food Court in Port Zante.
The victim has been identified as Jason Gilbert of Middle Island. He sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital, where he later died around 7:00 a.m.
Police have launched a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward. The Force has assured the public that all efforts are being made to identify and apprehend those responsible.
