Flow Makes History with EduBridge, Bringing High-Speed Internet to Vocational Classrooms

By: Flow, Press Release

Basseterre, St. Kitts & Nevis (July 31st, 2025) -- In a bold step toward bridging the digital divide in education, Flow has partnered with the Ministry of Education to launch EduBridge, a project designed to modernize vocational classrooms for students and teachers in St. Kitts and Nevis. This project will provide the Advanced Vocational Education Centre (AVEC) in St. Kitts and Gingerland Secondary School (GSS) in Nevis with secure, next-generation broadband, opening the door to enhanced digital learning opportunities.

The EduBridge project is a collaboration between the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Council (TVET), FLOW and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC).

“At its core, this project is about giving students and teachers the tools to thrive,” said Lorrain Mitchell, Country Manager, Flow. “EduBridge ensures that students in vocational programs are no longer left behind in the digital divide. It brings the promise of technology directly into their classrooms, not as a luxury, but as a necessity for their growth, learning, and empowerment.”

This initiative reflects Flow’s ongoing commitment to national development and digital equity. “We believe in the power of connectivity to transform lives. Our 30-year scholarship and internship programs are proof that we are dedicated partners in education,” Mitchell added. “EduBridge is the next step in building a smarter, stronger St. Kitts & Nevis.”

As the first project of its kind in the Federation, EduBridge is expected to serve as a blueprint for future digital learning efforts across the Caribbean.
