St. Kitts and Nevis, 8th August 2025 — The Citizen Security Secretariat (CSS) is proud to announce that the highly anticipated Better Opportunity Fair #3 will take place on Saturday, 16th August 2025, at the Sandy Point Hard Court from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event promises a vibrant mix of empowerment, resources, and family-friendly entertainment for residents across the Federation.
The third instalment in a series of four fairs, this event continues CSS’s mission to connect citizens with vital personal and professional development opportunities while promoting community unity. A broad array of information booths will be on site, including representatives from the UWI Open Campus, MASA, Elevate, Rotary Club, Inland Revenue Department, Aspire, the Ministry of Social Development, health screening services, and more organisations yet to be confirmed.
Attendees can explore educational programmes, financial services, wellness checks, and community initiatives designed to enhance quality of life throughout St. Kitts and Nevis.
The event will also feature a fun-filled atmosphere with bounce castles and activities suitable for the whole family. Local favourite Queens Quick Bites will provide delicious meals and refreshments, ensuring visitors enjoy a full day of learning and enjoyment.
Entertainment will be headlined by Ronnie Rascal, whose energetic performance is expected to keep the crowd engaged throughout the day.
The CSS extends sincere thanks to event sponsors Vallie’s Tent Rental Services and Island Electronics for their generous support in bringing the fair to life.
Eartha Carey, CSS Coordinator, reflected on the success of the previous fairs and the importance of reaching rural communities.
“The success of our events in Basseterre has shown us how deeply people value access to opportunities and resources,” said Carey. “By bringing the Better Opportunity Fair to communities outside the capital, we are ensuring that every corner of the Federation—from the heart of the city to rural towns and villages—benefits equally. Our aim is to bridge gaps, empower individuals, and make sure no one is left out of the journey toward a safer, more prosperous St. Kitts and Nevis.”
The Better Opportunity Fair series remains a key platform for empowerment, connection, and inspiration, bringing together stakeholders dedicated to fostering safer and stronger communities across the Federation.
The final fair in the series is being finalised and is scheduled to take place at the end of August in Saddlers. Further details on this concluding event will be announced shortly.
