BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — POLICE have laid eight additional charges against a second suspect in connection with the July 30, 2025, Pond’s Pasture shooting incident.
Thirty-year-old Nicholas Johnson of Caricom Village, New Road, St. Kitts, was formally charged yesterday (Aug. 14) with the following offences: attempted murder, possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, discharging a firearm in a public place, and three charges of shooting with intent.
Johnson is charged alongside Kareem Jeffers of Pond’s Pasture for the shooting of Police Constable Talbert Warner.
According to investigators, Constable Warner, 24, of Verchilds, was shot in the back while seated among a group of people at Ritchen’s Food Business.
