Three women charged in RAM Supermarket larceny case

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts -- POLICE have charged three women in connection with a larceny incident at the popular RAM’s Supermarket in Frigate Bay.

     

    Authorities confirmed that the incident took place on September 13 and 14 though they did not provide details on the nature of the theft.

     

    On September 17, police arrested Althea France of Bird Rock, St. Kitts, at Frigate Bay on suspicion of larceny. The following day, she was formally charged at the Basseterre Police Station with two counts of larceny.

     

    That same week, on September 18, Marsha Graham of Shadwell was arrested on suspicion of larceny. Two days later, she was officially charged at the Stapleton Police Station. Police noted that Graham’s offence was committed on September 14.

     

    Meanwhile, on September 19, Shermain Paul of Spooners, Cayon, was arrested in connection with larceny offences committed on September 13 and 14. The next day, she was formally charged at the Stapleton Police Station with four counts—two of larceny and two of receiving.

     

    Police said investigations are ongoing.
