BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has announced that yet another woman has been charged in connection with a Larceny case at the popular Rams Supermarket.
In a statement issued Tuesday afternoon (Sept. 23), police said Akelia Bassue of West Farm, St. Kitts, was charged with Simple Larceny for an offence committed on September 22 at Rams Supermarket in Bird Rock.
This latest charge comes on the heels of three other women being charged last week for similar offences.
According to police, on September 17, Althea France of Bird Rock was arrested at Frigate Bay on suspicion of Larceny. She was later charged at the Basseterre Police Station with two counts of larceny.
A days later, on September 18, Marsha Graham of Shadwell was arrested and subsequently charged at the Stapleton Police Station with Larceny, in connection with an incident that occurred on September 14.
On September 19, Shermain Paul of Spooners, Cayon, was also arrested in relation to offences committed on September 13 and 14. The following day, she was formally charged at the Stapleton Police Station with four counts—two for larceny and two for receiving.
