BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — THE Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has confirmed that Rafael Adames has been sentenced to serve time at His Majesty’s Prison for the offence of indecent assault.
The incident took place on June 8, 2024. Adames later pleaded guilty to one count of indecent assault on July 8, 2025, during a court appearance. His sentencing was deferred until a later date.
On September 25, 2025, the Basseterre Circuit Court handed down a five-year prison sentence. However, the time Adames had already spent on remand—10 months and 27 days—will be deducted from his sentence.
According to current provisions, Adames is required to serve two-thirds of his sentence with good behaviour.
The ruling was delivered by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, KC.
