BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — AN early morning fire on the Frigate Bay Strip has destroyed two popular establishments, leaving several people without jobs.
According to information received by SKNVibes News, the fire reportedly started around 12:30 a.m. today and quickly engulfed Cathy’s and Zanzi Bar. Firefighters were called to the scene and battled the flames for several hours, but were unable to save the two bars.
Videos and photos of the blaze began circulating on social media shortly after the incident, drawing widespread concern and sympathy from the public.
The fire has left two empty spaces on the Strip, a major entertainment hub for tourists, locals, and students.
