BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — POLICE have announced that Randolph Welsh of Lower Monkey Hill, St. Kitts, has been convicted and fined for multiple drug-related offences.
Welsh was charged on August 15, 2025, for possession of cannabis with intent to supply, possession of cocaine, and possession of cocaine with intent to supply. He was later charged on August 21, 2025, for possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to supply.
According to police, Welsh pleaded guilty to the charges and was fined EC$5,000, payable within three months. Failure to pay will result in six months’ imprisonment. His sentence was handed down on November 10, 2025, at the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court by Her Honour Ms. Yasmine Clarke.
In a separate case, Marsha Graham of Shadwell and Althea France of Bird Rock, both residents of St. Kitts, were convicted and sentenced for larceny.
Graham was ordered to pay a fine of EC$1,500 and EC$250 in compensation to the complainant. The fines are payable within three months or, in default, three months’ imprisonment.
France, meanwhile, was fined EC$1,500 on each of her two charges, along with EC$550 in compensation. Her fines must be paid within 14 days, or she will face three months’ imprisonment in default.
Both sentences were handed down at the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court by His Honour Reynold Benjamin on October 27, 2025.
