December 2 , 2025 -- The Cable emerged as the winner of the Employee Engagement award at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce’s Awards Ceremony on Saturday 29th November. The telecommunications company was also named a finalist in three additional categories for which it was nominated: Outstanding Large Business of the Year, Best Community Engagement, and Service Excellence.
CEO Patricia Walters celebrated The Cable’s remarkable achievement of being named a finalist in all four nominated categories, noting that this recognition reflects the company’s broad impact and unwavering commitment to nation-building.
“We are deeply passionate about creating a workplace where our employees feel valued and empowered. This award is a meaningful recognition of that commitment, and we are truly grateful,” said Walters.
She extended heartfelt appreciation to the individuals and groups who nominated The Cable, and especially to those who voted for the company.
