BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — THE Immaculate Conception Catholic School (ICCS) captured the Republic Bank Miss Talented Teen crown in the early hours of Sunday morning, outperforming seven other schools to claim the first major title of the 2025 Carnival season.
Performing before a sold-out crowd at the Warner Park Cricket Stadium on a damp evening, Tatiyana Archer was crowned queen after impressing judges and patrons alike with her confident stage presence and consistent performances throughout the pageant.
Washington Archibald High School’s Cader Rawlins secured the First Runner-Up position, while Celina Alwani of SKI Academy placed Second Runner-Up. Camira Williams of Verchild’s High School finished as Third Runner-Up.
In the individual award categories, Archer added to her victory by winning both Miss Photogenic and Miss Popularity/Social Media. The Miss Amity title went to Charles E. Mills Secondary School, while SKI Academy received the Chairperson’s Award and the School Spirit Award.
The 2025/2026 edition of the pageant lived up to expectations, with enthusiastic supporters cheering loudly for their respective schools. Over the years, the Miss Talented Teen Pageant has grown into one of the Carnival season’s marquee events, known for its fierce but friendly rivalry.
With her victory, Archer will go on to represent the Federation at the 2026/2027 Miss Haynes Smith Pageant.
Meanwhile, the National Carnival Committee expressed thanks to patrons for turning out in large numbers to support the event.
Carnival activities continue this evening with the staging of the Junior Calypso Competition.
