BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — BARBADOSPrime Minister Mia Mottley announced a short while ago that Barbadians will go to the polls on February 11.
Speaking during a ceremony this evening, the Prime Minister said she advised the President to dissolve Parliament on Monday, January 19, and instructed that preparations begin for the general elections.
She also announced that Nomination Day will be held on January 27.
Barbadians last went to the polls in 2022, when the Mia Mottley-led Barbados Labour Party secured a historic landslide victory, winning all 30 seats in Parliament.
