Two remain hospitalized following domestic incident

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – Police have released details surrounding a domestic incident that has left a woman hospitalised with injuries, as investigations continue.

     

    According to a police statement, the serious wounding occurred at a residence on Amory Drive in Camps during the morning hours of Monday, March 10.

     

    Police said officers responded to reports of a disturbance at about 7:00 a.m. On arrival, they learned that Mrs. Anita Dupont of Amory Drive had sustained injuries and had already been transported by Emergency Medical Services to the Joseph N. France General Hospital.

     

    Officers later gained entry to the residence where Carlton Dupont, also of Amory Drive, was found inside the home with injuries.

     

    He was subsequently transported by ambulance to the Joseph N. France General Hospital for medical treatment.

     

    Both individuals remain hospitalised and are reported to be in stable condition.
