Woman found motionless in pool of blood

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – A woman was last night (Jan. 8) found in a pool of blood in her home and is currently warded in the Joseph N France General Hospital in a serious condition.

     

    According to Police and Public Relations Officer Inspector Vaughan Henderson, at about 8:35 last night, officers at the Tabernacle Police Station received a report at about a wounding in Phillip’s Village.

     

    “Police responded at about 8:40 p.m. and investigations revealed that 51-year-old Diana Mills of Phillip’s Village was found in her Phillip’s home in a pool of blood with a number of lacerations about her body.

     

    “Officers observed that she was motionless but breathing. She was taken to the Mary Charles Hospital by the EMS ambulance and shortly after transported to the JNF Hospital and admitted in serious condition. No one was arrested in connection with matter, however, investigations are ongoing,” Henderson said.

     

    SKNVibes however learnt that Mills’ body bore multiple stab wounds, alleged to be inflicted by a sharp-pointed instrument.
