FRAYKO Designs: a blast of innovation for the new decade

FRAYKO Designs to take this decade by storm
By: VonDez Phipps, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – INSPIRED by his desire to express Caribbean culture through a passion for visual arts, son of the soil Atiba Byron has moulded his childhood dreams into a colourful business that is about to take this decade by storm – FRAYKO Designs.

Whether the name reminds you of a cold, icy treat sold on the street side or it splashes colour across your imagination, FRAYKO allows you to ‘Feel Right About Yourself being Kreatively Outspoken’.

The diverse company currently majors in graphic, interior and architectural designs and offers flash ad designs, logo designs, business cards, websites and album covers. It also offers blueprints, space planning designs and 3D renderings to transform any office or business place into a unique and imaginative space.

FRAYKO represents a philosophy of colour and culture that is revolutionary in its approach. According to Byron, his business strives to expose the nation’s culture through visual art.

“The vision of FRAYKO is long-term; this is not just another shop. It is truly a company of the future, especially for the region. The way how technology is evolving, we must be on top. I picture FRAYKO as an avenue for expression,” he said.

Byron is backed by a bloodline of talent and while his parents and grandparents were unable to access tertiary education, he was able to receive a degree in Architectural Construction. He subsequently worked two and a half years in interior designing at world-renowned Di Leonardo International, where he was able to work on projects for some of the world’s largest names in the hotel and corporate industries.

It was only in late 2008, when he was laid off from Di Leonardo, that FRAYKO was able to blossom from an idea into an innovative enterprise. After receiving moral support from one of his closest friends and business partners, Island Expressions owner Samal Duggins, Byron fully shifted gears to pursue his passion.

Working for an international company gave him insight into ways that the company could be more client-oriented and user-friendly.

The company offers easy dialogue with clients through its website www.frayko.com, where customers can  peruse the company’s portfolio of complete and ongoing projects. The site gives each client a user account that allows for a seamless transfer of documents and step-by-step consultations. Consultation is reasonably priced and the quality of designs is notably incomparable.

Although just over a year old, FRAYKO has done work for some of the nation’s entertainment lords including Masud Sadiki, Dagga, Q-Gyalist and Island Expressions. FRAYKO, as assured by Byron, is not the standard graphic design company, but is “innovative and futuristic” and something he is very passionate about.

“I see music through colours and that’s what FRAYKO is all about. Sometimes, we in St. Kitts and Nevis get used to low quality designs but when you give people the chance to see something different, something of high quality, they will want it. Clients could just give me an idea of what they want and I guarantee that the quality of the design is going to match or even exceed their expectations,” Byron said.

Byron thanked his parents, Yolanda Wilson and Ellis Byron, and other family members and friends for the undying support given to him in developing the business idea. Thanks were also extended to his alma mater, Verchilds High School, brother company Island Expressions and also to SKNVibes for the inspiration to launch out and start his own business.

Feel free to visit the site www.frayko.com and browse the services offered. Interested individuals can contact Byron via the website to get their design idea perfectly developed with creativity and colour.
