BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - PARTY CENTRAL’S final event, which was held on Saturday night (Jan. 9) at Club Kactus, was off to a late start as many people did not show up until 2:30 a.m. and after.
SKNVibes PEP arrived sometime after 1:00 a.m. and found the venue almost empty, but for a few persons on the outside and the DJs, some band members as well as a few men were at the bar.
Sometime around 3:00 a.m. the venue started to liven up as patrons began to flock the inside while DJ Flames set the mood in the club room with some slow-paced music and worked his way into the hype.
The Nu Vibes Band, which was staged on the outside of the club, started getting things warmed up for about 30 minutes before being disrupted by rain. The band members decided to quit the venue.
Sweet Sister Sensia also did some juggling on the outside earlier during the night. The ‘21 Gunsalute’ singer, Infamus, was also scheduled to perform at the event but was not seen by this media house during the time spent there.
The event came to an end sometime after 5:00 a.m. with Chalice Sound mixing up the music.
