June 18th, 2026 -- As part of its ongoing commitment to developing strong, effective leaders across the company, the TDC Human Resources Department hosted a comprehensive three-day from 15 th thru 17 June 2026, the Leadership Training Programme under the theme “Leading Through People: Practical Leadership Skills for Management.”
Designed to strengthen leadership capabilities at all levels of management, the workshop brought together supervisors, middle managers, and executive leaders in dedicated sessions tailored to their unique roles and responsibilities within the organization.
The training schedule included:
Day 1 - Supervisors
Day 2 - Middle Managers
Day 3 - Executives
The training sessions were facilitated by renowned Regional Business Strategist and Leadership Consultant, Ms. Dana Hayes-Burke, and were held at the TDC Training Room on Fort Street, Basseterre.
Employees engaged in interactive discussions, practical exercises, and real-world leadership scenarios focused on enhancing communication, team engagement, decision-making, accountability, conflict resolution, and people-centered leadership practices.
The theme, “Leading Through People,” emphasized the critical role leaders play in fostering positive workplace cultures, empowering employees, and driving organizational success through meaningful relationships and effective management strategies.
Speaking of the importance of the initiative, Mrs. Andrea James Wattley, Senior Human Resources Officer in the TDC Human Resources Department noted that investing in leadership development remains a key priority for the Group.
