BASSETERRE, St. Kitts — THE Special Victims Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) has arrested and charged Deslyn Prentice-Mullings of Camella Hancock Street, Ponds Pasture, with three offences.
According to police, Prentice-Mullings was arrested and charged on warrants in the first instance on July 8, 2026, at the Basseterre Police Station. The charges are Battery on Police, Obstruction, and Making Use of Indecent Language.
The RSCNPF reminded members of the public of the importance of cooperating with law enforcement officers as they carry out their duties to maintain public safety and uphold the law.
In a separate matter, officers of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Nevis Division, have charged Joel Taylor of Bath Village, Nevis, with housebreaking and larceny.
Taylor was arrested and charged on a warrant in the first instance on July 7, 2026, at the Newcastle Police Station.
The charges stem from an incident at Royal Electronics on Main Street, Charlestown, Nevis, on June 30, 2026.
