Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago,10 July 2026 -- On 05th July 2026, the Honourable Mr Justice Winston Anderson, President of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ/Court), paid a courtesy call on the Honourable Philip J. Pierre, Prime Minister of Saint Lucia and incoming Chair of the Conference of the Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community. The CCJ President was accompanied by Her Ladyship, the Honourable Justice Margaret Price-Findlay, Chief Justice of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, who also serves as a Commissioner of the Regional Judicial and Legal Services Commission.
The courtesy call took place during the CCJ President’s visit to Saint Lucia to attend the Opening Ceremony of the Fifty-First Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community. The President's participation in the Opening Ceremony was at the invitation of the Conference and continues an established practice of accepting such invitations.
The visit formed part of the Court’s ongoing strategic initiative to engage national judiciaries and members of government as a means of strengthening regional stakeholder engagement in accordance with the CCJ’s Strategic Plan 2025-2032.
