MOLINEUX, St. Kitts, January 12th 2009 (Labour Secretariat) - Hundreds of supporters of Parliamentary Representative for Constituency #7, Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris, showed their continued support for the man who has been at the helm of the development and progress in their constituency over the past 15 years in a massive motorcade throughout the constituency on January 9.
The jubilant atmosphere and the chants of “Harris Again” offered very dim hopes for the People’s Action Movement candidate, Ronald “Louis” Williams.
Dr. Harris said that he has recommitted himself to working even harder when he is re-elected to office to bring about the development of his people.
“I have worked hard for you over the past 15 years and I will continue to work even harder,” Dr. Harris said.
Dr. Harris outlined that many people in his constituency had benefitted from the massive housing program especially when he was Minister of Housing and that several others had been afforded educational opportunities never had before in the history of the constituency.
He boasted of the new Tabernacle Day Care Center, the Violet Petty Primary School, The Dr. Timothy Harris Primary School Scholarship Fund, the paving of several roads and the improvements in sports and social development among others.
“I have delivered for you. I am confident that you would not risk your future with a novice and inexperienced candidate like Louis,” Dr. Harris said.
