CHARLESTOWN, Nevis — POLICE are investigating a double homicide after a couple was found stabbed to death in Nevis, early Wednesday morning.
The victims have been identified as 62-year-old Mario Andrew and his partner, 52-year-old Caroline Rodrigues, both residents of Browne Pasture.
Officers responded to the scene shortly after receiving a report around 12:55 a.m. One person is currently in custody and assisting police with their inquiries.
The double murder brings the total number of homicides reported in the Federation this year to six.
