BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – REGINALD Johnson has been sentenced to 14 years in prison after being convicted of two counts of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge.
Johnson was sentenced on September 11 at the High Court in Basseterre by His Lordship Justice Patrick Thompson Jr.
He pleaded guilty to one of the charges, which stemmed from an incident between June 1 and June 22, 2022. In that instace ge was sentenced to six years in prison.
Johnson was found guilty following a trial on the second charge, relating to an incident between December 1 and December 31, 2022, where he received an eight-year sentence.
The two sentences will run concurrently, bringing his total prison term to 14 years.
Police said Johnson had already spent three years and 18 days on remand, and that time will be credited toward his sentence.
