KINGSTON, Jamaica – BEENIE MAN continues to display that he is the ‘King of Dancehall’, as he has scored his first hit for the year with a song called ‘Woman A Call Mi’.
According to a popular Jamaican website, One876Entertainament, Beenie Man, born Anthony Moses Davis, recently released the song and it has soared to the number one spot on the FiWiChoice Top Ten and also on the ER Top Ten Charts which airs on TV Jamaica every Friday.
The Jamaican website stated that in Beenie Man’s stellar 30-year career, he has been one of the most prolific hit makers in the reggae-dancehall genres. It further stated that he has an uncanny knack for changing his image and updating his sound so that he could remain relevant in a competitive genre that worships at the altar of youth.
Meanwhile, the Jamaican artiste has vowed to help the people of Haiti by responding to the plea from multi-platinum, Grammy-winning musician and humanitarian Wyclef Jean, whose native country has experienced its worst national disaster on Tuesday, January 12.
Beenie Man has pledged to lend his artistic skills to help raise funds directed towards any humanitarian and fund-raising efforts to help the people of Haiti.
