Labour Party to host another concert Saturday

By: Cherisse M. Sutton-Jeffers, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THE St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party will be hosting another concert on Saturday (Jan. 23), as its leader and candidates continue in their quest to win additional votes in the upcoming general election.

This time, however, the concert will be featuring Grammy Award Jamaican reggae group Morgan Heritage and Tarrus Riley.

The concert kicks off at 7:00 p.m at Warner Park and will also see the Federation’s four-time Calypso Monarch King Konris performing along with the band known to ‘Rock It Up’, Nu Vibes International.

If that’s still not enough to make one pull out those dancing shoes for the night, the Lightz Out and Kollision Bands are also scheduled to add their touch of spice to the concert.

The previous Labour Party’s concert was held last Saturday (Jan. 16) at which Haitian-born international artiste Wyclef Jean delivered an excellent performance to an extremely large crowd at the party’s Manifesto launch in Warner Park.

The first concert was held on January 3 and featured a performance by the ‘No Games’ Jamaican singer Serani.
