BASSETERRE, St. Kitts- ‘CALL ON ME’ Jamaican singer Jah Cure is now worry free as to the paternity results of a young lady who said he was the father of her child.
According to One876Entertainment, the singer has been experiencing some drama in his life for the past couple days after he found out on Tuesday, January 19 that a baby girl whom he was told was his turned out not to be so according to a DNA test.
Meanwhile, Jah Cure who was born Siccaturie Alcock, according to TropicalFete.com, has outlined a few facts. He said he has supported the mother throughout her pregnancy and had his father and manager be with her at the time of delivery in the US. His support for her throughout this period was unwavering.
It stated that before the birth of the child, Jah Cure requested a DNA test, a request which the mother refused. Despite this, he continued to support the child and her mother.
The media house further stated now that the DNA test has been done and shows that he is not the father, Jah Cure wishes to move on.
“The fact is that the most important individual in this whole affair is the child, and the longer that this continues the more damage is being done to the child.”
TropicalFete.com added that the statement further notes that Jah Cure would not now abandon the child but wishes that the media respect the privacy of the parties, as the child is indeed innocent and did not contribute to the mistakes of the adults involved.
