Sizzla released

KINGSTON, Jamaica - Dancehall artiste Sizzla Kalonji whose real name is Miguel Collins, has been released from jail. Sizzla was taken into custody for questioning in relation to an alleged shooting incident in August Town, St. Andrew. 

His manager, Phillip Burrell said that the artiste had not been charged. 

Reports are that Sizzla was picked up on Wednesday night by the August Town Police after they received reports that men were firing guns in the area. 

A senior officer at the Half-Way-Tree Police Station told RJR News that the artiste's hands have been swabbed and samples sent to the government laboratory to determine whether he had fired a weapon.
