BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - Applicants in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, who are vying for OAS Scholarships in respect of the 2011-2012 Academic Year, are kindly invited to access the OAS application system with immediate effect. The Application Form is an electronic form which must be completed online and submitted to the OAS database. Only the on-line OAS Application Form (098/01/07) will be accepted.

Applicants should indicate in their e-mails whether questions relate to the graduate or the undergraduate scholarship program. Applicants can also call the OAS local office in St. Kitts on 465-2636.

Please note that the Department of Human Resource Development at Government Headquarters in St. Kitts has set February 28, 2010, as its deadline for the receipt of completed applications from citizens of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

The total financial award from the OAS may not exceed US$30,000.00 per academic year which includes tuition, other scholarship benefits, and administrative costs.

OAS Scholarships will be awarded to begin studies in January 2011 through March 2012.

The OAS does not offer scholarships for studies in the medical sciences, law and the learning of new languages.
